SplitSeek is operated by Split Seek LLC, a California limited liability company ("SplitSeek," "we," "us"). SplitSeek is a marketing and matching service. We are not a real estate brokerage, and we do not employ agents, list property, or participate in real estate transactions or commissions. This policy covers our websites (splitseek.com and app.splitseek.com), our mobile applications, and any related services (together, the "Services").

Information you give us:

• Contact and profile details — name, email address, phone number, and market/location.
• Matching quiz and questionnaire answers — for agents: license status, experience, production, split preferences, and what you're looking for in a brokerage; for brokers and team leads: brokerage details, markets served, splits and support offered, and recruiting preferences; for aspiring agents: career interests and goals.
• Account information — login email and profile settings if you create an account.
• Communications — messages you send us and information shared during scheduled calls or meetings.
• Payment information (brokers only) — placement fees are processed by Stripe or PayPal; we receive confirmation of payment but never see or store full card numbers or bank credentials.

Information collected automatically:

• Usage and device data — pages visited, actions taken, device type, browser, approximate location from IP address.
• Cookies and similar technologies — we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the Services are used and the Meta Pixel to measure and improve our advertising (see Section 6 for choices).

• Matching — to match agents with brokerages (and vice versa) based on the preferences you share; this is the core purpose of the Services.
• Communication — match notifications, service updates, and (with consent where required) marketing emails, with unsubscribe anytime.
• Scheduling — arranging introduction calls between matched parties.
• Payments — processing broker placement fees and invoices.
• Improvement and analytics.
• Advertising — measuring campaigns and reaching people who may be interested in SplitSeek.
• Legal and safety — complying with law, enforcing agreements (including non-circumvention terms), protecting users and the business.

With your match. When you're matched, we share relevant profile information with the other party — for example, an agent's experience, market, and preferences with a matched brokerage, or a brokerage's offering with a matched agent. By using the matching service, you're asking us to make this introduction.

With service providers. We use trusted vendors to run SplitSeek, including hosting and app infrastructure, payment processors (Stripe, PayPal), e-signature (PandaDoc), analytics (Google), advertising (Meta, Google), and email/communication tools. These providers may process your information only to provide services to us.

For legal reasons. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of SplitSeek or others.

Business transfers. If SplitSeek is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

We do not sell your personal information. Our use of advertising cookies may be considered "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law; you can opt out as described in Section 7.

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and meet legal obligations. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. In addition:

• Access, correct, or update your profile information at any time from your account dashboard.
• Delete your account and data — from your account settings in the app, or by emailing us; we'll complete deletion requests within the timeframes required by law.
• Unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any email.

California residents

If you live in California, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, to request access to or deletion of your personal information, to correct inaccurate information, to opt out of the "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. To exercise any of these rights, email us at the address below. We will verify your request and respond as required by the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA).

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and role-based access to our systems. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security — but we work to protect your data and will notify you as required by law if a breach affects your information.

The Services are intended for adults pursuing or working in real estate. They are not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the effective date above and notify you through the Services or by email. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
